The Experience

Our Heritage Half Cow is not just beef — it’s an invitation into rare farm luxury. Each half share comes from a single animal, raised exclusively on our 400-acre Missouri farm. Nothing is ever co-mingled or substituted from another cow or another half share. When you order a half, that specific half stays together through the whole process- from our farm to the butcher, to your doorstep. Your family receives every cut of that specific half — its full story, from pasture to package, preserved with integrity.

What You’ll Take Home

(If you would like to customize your order, please let us know right away. This option is only available on pre-orders. After we receive the meat back from the butcher it'll be cut to the way our family would cut it (our Standard Family Cut) which is mostly outlined below).

  • Premium steaks (Ribeye, Sirloin, T-bone, Porterhouse, Filet)- You can customize thickness. Our standard for this batch is 1.5 inch steaks.

  • Roasts & Brisket - You can ask for half or whole brisket and roasts are generally cut into 2-3lbs per piece. Our standard is half brisket cut.

  • Ground Beef & Patties- You can customize fat percentage. Our standard is 80/20. Other options include: 85/15, 90/10. We do 1lb per package.

  • Stew Meat, Short Ribs, Soup Bones

  • Optional Organ Meats- Let us know if you would like these.

  • Yield: Approximately 250 lbs. packaged vacuum-sealed meat.

  • Freezer Space: ~8 cubic feet (fits in chest freezer)

  • Family Meals: Feeds a family of 4 for 4-6 months

Packaging — Elevated

Each Heritage share is individually vacuum-sealed and finished with our Heritage Collection label for a refined, timeless presentation. All cuts are boxed with clean branding — built for both durability and aesthetics.

  • Handling Your Premium Beef

    When Your Box Arrives

Your beef is flash-frozen at the butcher and shipped with dry ice to keep everything solid and safe during transit. When your box arrives, open it carefully — avoid touching the dry ice directly with your bare hands. If there’s still dry ice inside, let it dissolve in a well-ventilated area (don’t put it in your sink or trash until it’s completely gone).

    Storing Your Beef

Transfer your beef into your freezer right away. A half cow will typically need about 8–10 cubic feet of freezer space. Most chest freezers or upright freezers can handle this amount easily.

    Thawing for Meals

When you’re ready to cook, move the cuts you want to use into your fridge 24–48 hours before cooking to thaw slowly and safely. For quicker thawing, place sealed packages in cold water and change the water every 30 minutes.

    Shelf Life

Properly frozen beef can stay at peak quality for up to a year. We recommend labeling your packages by cut and using older ones first to keep your freezer organized and fresh.

    Pro Tip:

Treat this beef like the treasure it is — raised with care, butchered with precision, and delivered straight from our farm to your kitchen.
