Red Wine Make You Younger
BENEFITS red wine for health probably is not new. Natural ingredients found in beverages is believed efficacious for heart and blood vessel health when consumed regularly and wisely.
Other evidence of the benefits of red wine expressed by experts from the University of Wisconsin who published his research in the journal PLoS ONE recently. They indicate, a type of compound in red wine called resveratrol showed great potential for cardiac protection against aging.
Conclusions are drawn to experts after conducting laboratory research using rats as experimental objects. Resveratrol-treated mice showed changes in gene activity in the body associated with aging. This change is very similar to mice that were conditioned experience that calorie restriction can also slow down the aging process by cutting dietary energy intake from day-to-day.
“The most important thing is how much resveratrol is able to block or avoid a decline in cardiac function caused by the aging process.,” Says Tomas Prolla, a professor at the University of Wisconsin who support this research.
Resveratrol is commonly found in wine have attracted attention and interest of many scientists and companies like GlaxoSmithKline. Some research has also shown that high doses of resveratrol can extend life expectancy of fruit flies and worms and prevented early death in mice that a diet high in fat.
“Resveratrol in low doses can slow some aspects of the aging process, including the heart organ. It is also shown by the ability of resveratrol mimic the effect of calorie restriction, which is known to slow aging in several tissues and cells extend life expectancy, “says Prolla, one member of the research team.
